Forgive and Forget

Forgetting is something we can do but only with anointing from the Spirit. It requires humility ( see the Mother Teresa Youtube Vid on the Fast Forgiveness Page). And it must be done with a pure heart, the way Christ forgave us. He blotted out our sins and remembers them no more. Isaiah 43:25 “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.” His Spirit is in us, the one that raised him from the dead and who has sealed us. Ephesians 4:30- “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” I believe to forgive with a pure heart is obtainable or he would not have said he did it nor would he have invested his Spirit in us and told us we could do greater things than he. When you received his forgiveness you never wanted to go back to your old ways, never wanted to ask for such a great gift as that because you knew the price he paid. But that did it for you, your sins were blotted out. You knew he loved you so much, you knew it, you got it. That means you can do it too. But this type of forgiveness requires a lot of digging in with God. There is no worthy forgiveness without sacrifice, there is no worthy sacrifice without obedience and humility. There is no worthy obedience or humility without love and there is no worth love without forgiveness. These cannot be separated and all are found in only one person, Jesus. I intend to expand on this in the study, so thank you for asking a question I have been working on for some time myself. This is a brief thought, I’d like you to comment on it, please.
